Blueprint Nebraska is seeking statewide input and ideas on Nebraska's economic growth priorities through an online community survey. As a supporter of high-quality early care and learning, we’re asking for your help in keeping these programs top-of-mind among Nebraska’s business and economic leaders.
The survey asks residents for input on key aspects of the economic landscape, such as agriculture, health care, community vitality, taxation/incentives and workforce. By filling out the survey, you’ll help the committee get a clearer picture on the current state of the state–and provide direction to shape its future. Your insight will keep quality early childhood programming part of the conversation about Nebraska’s prosperity and growth.
Thought starters on how early care and learning impacts Nebraska’s future:
- Improved productivity of the current workforce through accessible early care and learning supports for working parents.
- A vibrant future workforce that exhibits fundamental job skills and behaviors such as leadership, communication, self-management and adaptability.
- Scientific research shows quality early learning opportunities lead to greater educational achievement, higher adult wages, better health outcomes and reductions in violent crime, arrests and unemployment.
In addition to thinking big, Nebraska needs to think small. Big things have small beginnings.
