Federal judge temporarily blocks Trump’s federal funding freeze
First Five Nebraska, a statewide public policy organization committed to the early care, education and healthy development of young children, is encouraged by the temporary block on the broad-based federal funding freeze announced today by the administration. Such a freeze would have the potential to create significant uncertainty for our state’s early childhood systems. We are closely monitoring this situation and are actively engaged in sharing information with Nebraska’s federal delegation on the negative impacts the announced funding freeze could have if put into effect. We will share more information as it becomes available.
